Job Description

    Channel Data Analyst will manage and coordinate the aggregation of key financial performance data for the channel business across Europe, Middle East and Africa as part of ES-EMEA Finance function. The individual will develop and manage processes for the collection of channel financial data and net-net price calculation aligned to accounting under the functional lead of the Director of Commercial Policy, Channel, supporting ES-EMEA s Commercial Teams goals, and providing quality data in a timely fashion to feed into the ES-EMEA Commercial Performance Analytics Teams reports. The main areas of activities will be in liaising with Country Channel Sales Organizations and Distributors & Strategic Accounts to collect, check, and verify key Channel data sources.This exciting role offers opportunity to:
    • Provide the required financial information as an input into the annual Partner Advantage Program planning process
    • Working to an agreed schedule, acquire and collate the individual PAP country plans, creating a consolidated EMEA PAP plan
    • Working with the country channel sales teams manage a schedule of delivery for Sales Out & Sales In data sets from both our IT and EWS distributors
    • Support channel marketing dashboard including MDF, integrated campaign and partner program dashboard
    • Carry out a defined series of quality checks on the Sales Out datasets to ensure that they meet the required level for upload into our analytic environment
    • Work with country channel sales teams and distributors to correct any quality issues or delays in this process
    • Support the Commercial Channel Teams wider remit to provide quality data to the ES EMEA business by contributing to shared projects, and supporting other projects in this area
    • Support the Commercial Performance Analytics Teams remit to provide quality sales and logistic reporting to the Commercial Channel Team and wider Channel Sales community.
    Qualifications
    • Requirement:
    • 2 to 4 years of experience in data warehousing projects, data preparation, and data gateways. Preferably in Manufacturing industry
    • Graduate in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Economics. MBA degree (Marketing or Finance) preferred
    • Ability to manage a large amount of transactional data and determine trends up to part number level with win-loss analysis using statistical and analytical tools.
    • Working knowledge of Process Improvement tools and methodologies
    • Good organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills and the inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management
    • Highly motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Technical proficiency in following areas is required:
    • MS Office suite, should be very proficient with MS- Excel & PowerPoint
    • PowerBI experience is must- Visualization + DAX computing
    • Experience of working on BI tools like SAP BW, OBIEE is desirable.
    • Knowledge/exposure of statistical languages and tools like SPSS, Tableau is an added advantage.
