Business Systems AnalystPosting Location : Location IN-PunePosting date 1 day ago(9/15/2021 7:57 AM)Job ID 89586 Workday ID R-015816 Job summary The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) team is looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst, who has extensive knowledge of the Oracle E-business Suite Applications, to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. You will identify gaps, provide technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications, scale new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will configure system settings and options, plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. You will design details of automated systems. You may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems and lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues. You will be part of a team supporting Oracle E-business Suite Applications globally, focusing on procure-to-purchase processes. Primary job responsibilities

  • Be an expert in Oracle financials with a specialization in the procure-to-purchase business process within the Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Perform team lead role which include managing day-to-day support activities for functional area
  • Perform business and functional and technical analysis for Red Hat on the procure-to-pay accounting cycle, R12 E-Business Tax (EBTax), and general ledger
  • Gather requirements, design solutions, configure e-business suite modules, test, and provide end-user support
  • Maintain the payable, Oracle iProcurement, and purchasing application and train the users in the relevant systems to support their roles
  • Work very closely with development teams to develop appropriate technical solutions
  • Work in agile culture and delivery model
  • Work with external tools, offerings, and internal organizations
Required skills
  • Bachelor s degree, U.S. or foreign equivalent, or masters degree, U.S. or foreign equivalent, in computer information systems, computer science engineering, business management, accounting, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience supporting procure-to-purchase
  • Knowledge of payable and purchasing
