Job Description

Job Overview TE Connectivitys Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals. Roles & Responsibilities ROLE OBJECTIVE Responsible for the overall Supply chain management which includes, Production Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, Warehoue management, Import and Export trade compliance.RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for Production Planning & Control activities for plant, improve the planning systems, S&OP, Demand Management. Responsible for Purchasing of TE and Non-TE Components. Drive his team with regular review and coaching to ensure 100% on time material availability to meet customer demand, Inventory Management, supplier management. Overall manages inbound & outbound logistics, deliver on freight cost control targets, liaison with freight forwarders & CHA s for smooth operation. Warehouse management, ensuring stock integrity, EHS compliance and efficiency improvement within warehouse Ensuring local and international trade compliance. Responsible for SCM metrics such as OTD, ITR etc.Required Skills and competencyLong DescriptionEDUCATION/KNOWLEDGEBE/ B.Tech (Mechanical, Production), PG in SC desirable. Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, ISO, IATF Experience in managing import & export transactional supply chainCRITICAL EXPERIENCEMin. 10 -12 years of total experience, with hands on experience in leading supply chain team for at least last 3-4 years COMPETENCIES Team Management is essential Managing Supply Chain key processes Warehouse Management SAP MM/PP Sof Skills Good Analytical Skills, Drive for results, leading teamMOTIVATIONAL/CULTURAL FITProblem solving Talent development Results driven Competencies Motivating OthersBuilding Effective TeamsManaging and Measuring WorkValues: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, InnovationSET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers),
