JOB DESCRIPTION: Cognos BI DEVELOPER with TM1 experienceNorthern Trust is executing on a strategic initiative to enable business intelligence (BI) and IBM Cognos Analytics and IBM Planning Analytics(TM1). As the environment is being built out, support and analysis activities will be required as we begin to onboard partners across all areas of the bank. Consultants applying for this position must have experience with the development and production environments, as well as assisting partners with application development tasks. Consultants must also possess clear oral and written communication skills and demonstrate flexibility while working on multiple projects and initiatives at the same time. JOB DESCRIPTION AND PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Exposure & Hands on experience on Cognos 11 Data Analytics.* Highly skilled in Cognos Framework Manager design, development, and maintenance using IBM recommended best practices* Design and develop complex report Complex Drill Through, Cascading Prompts, Summary Reports, Burst Reports* Working on TM1 Design and Development at the functional and technical levels per assigned project/task * Proven knowledge Data warehousing concepts, ETL concepts, SQL, PLSQL.* Experience and exposure on Agile Methodologies, Process.EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS Experience * At least 5 years of a hands-on proven experience in Cognos 11 Data Analytics and Planning Analytics(TM1). * Experience and/or educational background in computer programming * Experience and/or educational background in Accounting and Finance is a plus * Proven ability to work with minimal supervision * Proficient level of the communication skills in English Required Skills * Should be proficient in designing data model using Framework manager should know about Physical layer, business Layer , Presentation Layer , Determinants , Stitch query etc.* Should be able create reports using Conditional styles, Render variables and page breaks.* Should be able to create dashboards in Cognos 11 Analytics he should be able visualize the problem and represent in a story telling format.* Developing logical layer in TM1 using Turbo Integrator and Rules. Advance level of MDX. * Developing complex applications using TM1 Websheets * Advance level of data analysis using SQL * Experience with recent versions of the product Cognos 11 Analytics and Planning Analytics 2.0 is a plus * Understanding and ability to implement basic financial reporting principles such as P&L, Balance Sheet (Statement Of Financial Positions), General Ledger etc. * Understanding of basic financial processes such as Forecasting and Planning, Consolidation, Currency Conversion, etc. * Understanding work- and process- flows, experience with business process oAdditional Information,
