Job Description

    • You will join the Controls Software development team for DCT powertrain
    • Development of functional safety technical work products for software design (ISO26262-6) according to Punch Powertrain documentation guidelines and processes
    • Coordinate, plan and document all safety-related activities within the Controls Group
    • You play a large role in the Model Based Design processes (modeling, calibration, and testing)
    • You will design, develop and validate the control strategies for functional safety and diagnostics in the controls software
    • Development of test specifications for safety requirements
    • Supporting bench/HIL tests and system/vehicle validation of functional safety & diagnostics requirements
    Profile:
    • Bachelors degree or higher in the field of Automotive, Mechatronics, Systems, Controls, Computer or Electrical Engineering.
    • 3+ years of experience in automotive or related field is an asset.
    • Must have knowledge of vehicle communication systems e.g. CAN (SAE-J1939), XCP, UDS (ISO-14229) etc
    • Experience in Diagnostics communication SW development in Automotive domain
    • Knowledge of C-code/Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and modelling standards (MAAB rules)
    • Understanding of Bharat Stage 6 (AIS-137) emission and OBD standard is an asset
    • Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g. CANape, CANalyzer, INCA etc.)
    • Knowledge of Functional Safety standard ISO26262 and Autosar standard
    • You proceed according to a good methodology in development and problem solving.
    • You are well organized and have strong analytical and communication skills.
    • You are an excellent team player.
