Job Description

    Job DescriptionRole: Data Analyst (Power BI/ Tableau)Technical skillset Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python Programming, SSAS, SSIS, ETL, Snowflake data modelling and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory). Basic cloud and data architecture knowledge will be added advantage.Responsibilities To design, build, and deploy reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI; deliver projects on time, within budget and scope. Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications Be experienced in tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design, Snowflake database design and more Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI. Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set. Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries. Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards. Proficiency in coding languages like Python and JavaScript (desired) Build, develop and maintain highly collaborative and effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including external client stakeholders Proactively identify and manage risks and issues Monitoring and controlling the project, including reporting progress against plan. Managing project risks and issues, dependencies & assumptions, including developing contingency plans. Coordination of external client UAT planning, execution, and closureEducation and experience 1-5 years working experience in Data analytics. Bachelors/masters degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Technology or any other engineering stream Mandatory hands-on experience in Microsoft BI stack with Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS Experience in working with Power BI, Tableau, or Snowflake Experience in data preparation and data warehousing projects Familiarity with scripting and programming in Python Knowledge of SQL server/Snowflake Advanced proficiency level in MS Excel Knowledge or experience of other Microsoft power platform is preferred A thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle must be shown, across a variety of different delivery methodologies.
