Job Description

    Data Analyst- FinanceBentley Systems is growing rapidly in cloud. Cloud Finance team requires a Senior Data Analyst to improve upon existing reporting and help with new reporting requirements.We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture.Position will require-
    • Consolidating and analyzing data from large disparate data sets, queries, and reports present in operational and financial systems.
    • Building metadata, designing web forms and setting up data capture/input and assigning context to business data
    • Conduct exploratory analyses to understand usage behavior patterns
    • Supporting monthly forecast cycles, work on high impact projects, and troubleshoot any systems-related issues all while becoming a trusted and strategic partner for the broader FP&A team
    • Effectively engage and partner with other analytics team members, engineering, product management and DevOps to drive outcomes and make an impact
    • Highly responsive, task driven, accountable and curious
    • Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
    • Accuracy and attention to detail; ability to prioritize own workload and manage downstream stakeholders and resources
    Essential Skills:
    • Experience in scripting with Python and and using Databricks
    • Proficient with M/DAX, PowerBI Desktop and service
    • Extensive knowledge in data sourcing strategies using ETL, REST API calls, Google Big Query, etc.
    • Experience with Azure REST APIs and Azure Resource Graph (Kusto) is a plus
    • Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Function
    • Proficient with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
    • Proficient with T-SQL including stored procedures, views, functions, query optimization
    • Candidate should have excellent problem solving capabilities
    Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of data analysis experience in Finance, Pricing, Sales or related Field.
    • B.E/B. Tech (Computer Science)/MCA
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
