Job Description

    Technology skills, Competencies and Experience: 10+ years of provable data engineering experience in data warehousing, data integration, master data management and data lakes Extensive knowledge of coding languages, including Python and R based frameworks, and SQL.Proficiency in warehousing architecture techniques, including data quality management, MDM, data marts and EDWs.Good experience in working with data using SQLs, Python and Scala in Microsoft based resources like Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data bricks and Data Lake.Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.Experience in enterprise integration with pub-sub models/MQTT will be an added advantage in designing real-time integrations in our IIoT based projects.A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.Experience in data visualizations and infographics using tools like Power BI, QlikSense or Tableau will be of good benefit.Ability to participate in discussions around data requirements for Machine Learning & AI concepts.Excellent listening, verbal and writing skills is very important. Experience with agile software development models is required.Must have the ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and the ability to multi-task.Effective problem solving, facilitation, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skillsRole and Responsibilities:Primary accountability towards the architecture, design and development of data pipelines, ETL/ELT jobs, design around hot, warm and cold frameworks, CDC approaches, etc.Perform data analysis and business process analysis to design the data pipeline and integration architecture.Work along with the data architect in validating the data models, converting logical data models to physical models.Participate in the design of data security, compliance, data quality monitoring, access control and ancillary aspects of data.Guide the development of an Agile data development process, when required using DW automation tools.Assist the project team in planning and execution to achieve daily and sprint goals.Articulate documentation of project artefacts and deliverables. Identifies and communicates risks clearly to the Product owner and the team.Education of customer on how the technology recommendation/solution planned will fulfil the customer expressed needs.Testing and troubleshooting of the new data storage systems.Data visualization and reports development using tools like Power BI, Qlik, Tableau Active listener and contributor to discussions to understand business and technical requirements.Education: Requires a Degree in Information Technology or Computer ScienceNo. of positions: 03 Work location: Wipfli India, Bengaluru
