Have you successfully planned, organized, and controlled all defect management activities Have you got a sound understanding of Testing or already working as a Defect Manager Do you want to be a defect manager managing all aspects of the Defect Process and offer guidance to the software development, QA, and operational teams to ensure application and test deliveries meet the requirements We re looking for a Defect Manager to: to own and chair daily defect triage calls with lead Development, Test and Operational Teams, and to provide clear minutes and actions definition, ownership, and management of the Defect Process in Agile environment ensuring all defects are entered correctly and controlled / managed as effectively as possible through their lifecycle. maintaining absolute integrity of the defect database and ensuring a full audit trail for any changes made to defect status outside of the published defect process. liaise with multiple stakeholders establish guidelines for vendor management and police and co-ordinate with production support and Application Delivery teams triage between our Production Support team and Application development teams to manage open incidents in Production supports Vendor and development team in managing list of Service Requests (SR) and Enhancement Requests (ER) manage and review JIRA for infractions for the defect management standardization - Defect life cycle & Root Cause Analysis. capture and review Defect Metrics to analyze the trend and test effectiveness. Look for ways to improve quality contribution to Defect management guild for improving defect management process and tools/techniquesYour teamYou ll be working in the HRIT team based in our Pune, India location.
