Job Description

Job OverviewWe are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Sr. Design Engineer to join our creative team.As the Design Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of engineering dutiesincluding designing, researching and prototyping new products by working with our esteemedclients from Automotive, transportation, defense sectors.The chosen engineer will collaborate with the design, production and QC teams on variousdesign projects, using in-depth knowledge of the latest design trends and engineering softwareto lead the way. In addition to being good team player, go-getter, the candidate should becreative thinker with excellent problem solving skills.Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage and oversee a team of designers
  • injection mold / Jig Fixture design
  • Should be able to perform part feasibility study for various FRP molding processes like
  • (infusion, LRTM, SMC, etc), Vacuum forming and injection molding.
  • Should be able to do tolerance stack up and tolerance study.
  • Creation and maintenance of BOM and Time plan.
  • In depth understanding and execution of patterns, molds (composites molds, vacuum
  • forming molds, injections molds)
  • Coordination of internal production, QC and external customer for timely completion of
  • projects
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining of designing documents for ISO certification
Qualifications
  • DME or B.Tech/B.E Mechanical with 5-7 years experience in molds, tools, jigs and fixtures
  • PG course in CAD/CAM from reputed institute.
  • Hands on experience in CATIA and Soil works.
  • Must have handled a multi disciplinary team in previous job.
  • Experience in handling defense projects, OEM customers is preferred.
  • Experience in composites molding development is preferred.
  • Experience in implementing and handling ISO certification related activities in preferred.
