Work closely with customers, development, Product owner to understand business requirements, application architecture, and even the application RCA. that drives analysis, architectural gaps, and the design of quality technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business.What You Will Be Doing Proactively defend service level agreement(SLA) by continuously review and extend service level indicators to enhance our confidence in meeting our SLA. Developing and maintaining automated infrastructure running and supporting the platform Ensure platform is secured using best practices and FIS requirements. Ensure known vulnerabilities are remediated to the best of our abilities. Ensure platform is running on relevant and supported versions as indicted by the vendor Ensure monitoring notifications are responded to, reviewed, and action-ed in a timely manner. Fiercely work to resolve platform issues by Continually learning and sharing knowledge of the components of the platform. Accepting escalations from lower tiers, owning the escalation, and moving it forward Documenting actions taken on tickets prior to escalating to next tier.Reviewing logged data and extending logging to meet the teams need when gap is discovered.Continuously validate continuity of the platform by Securing & validating customer data is backed up Routinely verifying disaster recovery plans, amending when needed. Reviewing & accepting newly developed functionality into production.Participates in delivering new features/functionality from PI planning. Continually vocalizing the needs of Operations functionality within the developed features.Working with the platform team to understand the solution for automating and improving application service delivery, as well as working with the dev team to improve architecture and design, and working on high-escalated triages for root cause analysis Generally, the team has a flexible working hours culture but collaborates with the US team, and the new candidate will have similar expectations. The candidate may need to join an incident call, but very rarelyaround 1020% of the time but less frequently. This will be more of a techno-functional role, with 70% on technical implementation solutions for technical or architectural problems, developing code or script, mentoring on technical needs, etc Troubleshoots problems and supports the implementation of new proceduresWhat You Bring 9 to 15 Years of experience in Devops and Kubernetes. 4 to 5 Years of Experience as an Architect 9 to 15 years of experience, but candidate must have worked at least 2-3 years on production application and performance with an understanding of application architecture and operations under SRE framework, who thinks and understands the big picture and is not really tied to a specific technology Strong history of work in running SaaS applications in production. Strong knowledge in IaC code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet).Strong knowledge of Python and extremely helpful to be knowledgeable in Groovy and/or Golang Very strong knowledge writing shell scripts.Strong knowledge in observability concepts Monitoring/Alerting SLA/SLO/SLI understanding of terms and practical experience implementing. Strong knowledge in Cloud computing concepts. Strong preference for previous work experience in AWS Comfortable working with a development team in an iterative manner to achieve best practices.
