  • Liaising with System Architects to assist in commissioning effective scalable solutions for the platform
  • Produce system requirements from business requirements
  • Produce designs and estimates from system requirements
  • Go to person for technology problem resolution
  • Drives the team to produce well structured, maintainable, reliable and fit for purpose code at an accepted level of quality
  • Drives the team to unit test code to highest possible coverage levels
  • Assist with content and accuracy of user facing documentation as appropriate
  • Troubleshooting and investigation of production system problems
  • Proactively identifying and suggesting improvements and enhancements to working practices
  • Gathering and imparting information effectively within the department and the wider business
  • Demonstrating a can do attitude and a sense of responsibility for the wider implications of software engineering
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach to all areas of work
  • Demonstrating a flexible approach necessary for the role as business requirements and their relative priorities are subject to review and change
  • Assist Quality Assurance and Support Teams as needed
  • Responsible for the development of new programs, analyses current programs and processes, and making recommendations
  • Mentor junior members when required
Essential
  • Excellent Microsoft development stack experience
  • dotNet Core, dotNet Standard, .NET Framework, Web API, Web Services, Windows Services
  • Basic Knowledge of Angular JS
  • Expert engineer within an agile team
  • Expert in Software Development Life Cycle
