We re looking for someone like this to: conduct requirements-gathering activities, evaluating services, analyzing and using a variety of internal and external data and conducting end user interviews collaborate with our business partners in the creation of business requirements and functional specifications, assist in quality control and project management and identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements prototype solutions on our in-house and be involved in implementing final IT solutions work within a global team and partner with senior management to build awareness, assess opportunities for new technologies and maximize value/impact of the function build trust and strong working relationships with Business and Technology stakeholders push forward the capabilities and performance of the team to strengthen and expand the service offering of the unit which align with the business needs for today and the futureYour teamGroup Internal Consulting (GIC) is UBSs internal consultant unit. We are a dynamic, driven and diverse team with over 750 people present in 5 regions across the globe. As part of the firm s Group Transformation Office (GTO), we work in close partnership with all divisions and functions to drive transformation and change across UBS, supporting the firm in achieving its strategic goals. Our focus is on delivering high quality services, with fast onboarding, leveraging institutional knowledge. We offer our consultants a diverse portfolio of projects, providing them with the chance to work across the firm. Our consultants are empowered to drive their career development, supported by a tailored training curriculum, a commitment to the new ways of working, a sustainable work life balance and exciting internal mobility options., 5+ years of experience in financial services and/or IT consulting with a university degree in IT or related field proven track record of successfully engaging on technology projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies with an ability to adapt quickly to changing technology requirements and environments ability to understand business needs and transform these into functional and technical requirements and specifications ability to interpret a set of technical requirements and turn them into robust solutions experience building trusting relationships with business stakeholders, excellent communication skills at a technical and functional level strong knowledge of SDLC and understanding of DevOps practices. experience in the following: - Development & hands-on experience on Java, JavaScript, Spring boot, React on UI frameworks, Unix/Linux Scripting - Java/J2EE based applications using (i.e. Hibernate, Spring) and software integration techniques like REST API services - Azure databases/ Oracle 11g/12c (SQL & PL/SQL), Informatica, SQL - Application and Web servers. Web sphere/Tomcat technology preferred. - build/Integration tools like Maven, Gradle, and Ant. Design, plan and deliver solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment Excellent communication skills and experience in liaising with global compliance
