Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesPlease find attached Job Profile for Field Application Engineer.

Understand the products thoroughly and in order to answer customers questions regarding the products , resolve technical objections.
Understand the customer s application in order to provide solution.
Supports the customer engineering team on product design and approvals.
Technical support to internal Sales team and distributors
Engage with engineering to develop new product for next generation designs.
Hold technical meeting and seminars for prospects and key account personnel
Should have strong knowledge of SMPS, industrial Electronics and Automotive electronics requirements
Competition analysis and suggest best alternates to the internal, external teams/customers
Work closely with Distributors FAE/design labs to develop workable solutions
Monitor and grow business through new designs
Closely monitor upcoming market trends and report to the Management
Whenever required extend technical support during quality issues
Ready for customer visits whenever required

This position is an extension of Sales Engineer, wherein the candidate should able to also understand & discuss the application of components in the design(electronic circuits) or find out new product applications.,
