Job Description

Job Title:FIF Market Making DeveloperLocation: PuneIntroduction:To develop, enhance and support Repo Market Data, Trade Execution, Trade Capture and other Front Office applications.What will you be doing

  • Take ownership of the deliverables of each iteration, ensuring the scope of the project/deliverables is well understood.
  • Effectively visualize and design complex systems; good command over the relevant design patterns and concepts covering failover and resiliency.
  • Development and support of trade capture platform for Repo Trading Platform
  • Perform code reviews to ensure implemented functionality matches expectations and is in line with coding standards defined globally.
  • Co-ordination with the QA team and the larger IT group in delivery of implemented features to production.
  • Interaction with front office users and operations for requirements/support.
  • Assistance in the investigation and troubleshooting of production issues. Play an active role in mentoring/coaching/training and development of team members.
  • Improve processes and software in a continuous feedback cycle.
What were looking for:
  • 8+ Hands on experience on DevOps practices, tooling and automation: Maven, Chef, Jenkins, Nolio, Sonarcube, AppDynamics
  • 7+ Experience with development Tools including source control (GIT), Continuous Integration (TeamCity)
  • 4+ Java , SpringBoot, Maven, Tomcat / ELK (Elastic Stack) / Linux (ideally RHEL) / Windows Server
  • Self-motivated, passionate, well organized individual with demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and development of containerized applications will be plus
  • Relevant experience working in an Agile development methodology
Skills that will help you in the Role:
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies: OpenShift, Python.AWS
  • Knowledge of enterprise level messaging
  • Experience with Testing frameworks (Cucumber/Selenium) & techniques
  • Experience in support & maintenance of distributed systems
  • Any experience in working Python development or AWS related technologies.
