• The financial analyst will work collaboratively with Technical Accounting & Government Reporting Team at Cleveland and India Corporate team. The Analyst will review actual billing and prepare monthly rolling forecast and participate in annual profit plan activity for India Corporate and assists in facilitating the timely and accurate reporting of quarterly and annual financial information as required by the Securities and Exchange Commission (Form 10-K, 10-Q, etc.). This person will also be significantly working with the multiple departments (AR, AP, SCM) for billing and Senior Manager from Technical Accounting & Government Reporting Team with related to financial results and government reporting forms
• Professional will also support team in routine financial analysis & reporting as required. Assignments will include planned and ad hoc projects
• This position would be an Individual Contributor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Financial Analysis & Reporting for the Technical Accounting & Government Reporting and India Corporate (including):

• Assistance and analysis in preparation of corporate monthly billing activities (including actuals, accrual)
• Review the actuals billing and take necessary entries wherever the invoices have not been booked and ensure that the monthly cut-off entries have been posted correctly.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable team for invoice processing and Payable team for correct invoice coding
• Prepare forecast input files and share with the stakeholders and maintain forecast accuracy to ensure actuals v/s forecast variance are in line with threshold.
• Participate in Annual Profit Plan activities and preparation of various comparison reports
• Provide explanation of variances between actual results with forecast/budgets
• Responsible for obtaining/processing all required support necessary to prepare the documents and creating/maintaining neat and thorough support binders for the related SEC filing(s)
• Preparation of workings for the quarterly and annual U.S.A. government reporting forms with emphasis on accuracy, attention to detail and properly supported balances
• Able to interpret and analyze financial statements
• Analyze financial data, investigate and identify the solution to the queries received from government agencies
• Perform additional analyses as assigned.
• Work in a global team environment supporting the Government reporting, India Corporate and interacting with various controllers in the business locations.

DIMENSIONS:Record any measurable statistics which your position impacts such as production expenses, maintenance expenses, sales volumes, payroll costs, capital expenditures, research budgets, cost of purchases, value of inventories controlled, employees supervised (direct and indirect).

• Adherence to Timelines as per the statutory calendar with proactive planning and execution for the ledgers
• Utilizing ERP/Oracle/SAP/BI/HFM/Power BI to utmost for reporting.
• Continuous improvements and streamlining of accounting and reporting processes with an aim to reduce time and effort.
• Analytical bend of mind
• Shift working Second/Third however needs to stretch beyond the shift based on the requirements

QualificationsRequirement:

• Accounting major (B. Com) & CA/ICWA/CFA/MBA (Finance), preferable.
• Excellent Analytical skills to interpret Financial data, Written and oral communication skills.
• Manufacturing industry experience (preferred).
• Proficiency with MS-Office particularly Excel, Power Point, Word and other reporting tools
• Working Knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools ORACLE, SAP, ENCORE, HFM, Power BI
• 3-5 years of FP&A and accounting experience.
