We re looking for a GM-MessagingInfrastructure, with proven experience in a similar role in the Telecommunications industry.Please visit www.sms-magic.com for more information about the company.Job Overview As our GM-Messaging Infrastructure, you will find the best carriers for routing our customer sSMS/Whatsapp traffic, to meet the expected criteria of cost, delivery, and quality of service.You will work out win-win deals and relationships with CpaaS providers and partners. Youwill bring innovation to our products by adding new message channels and capabilities. Youwill provide business requirements to technical teams for building/scaling the MessagingInfrastructure.Key Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include negotiating rates, delivery and service with carriers forour messaging traffic. You will build relationships with key messaging carriers and apps/Appproviders like Whatsapp, Apple, Google etc. You will provide key insights and market newsto Product & Marketing teams. You will work with the Marketing department to createCustomer knowledge & awareness campaigns. You will create Business RequirementDocuments and Product Requirement Documents for new Messaging features andcapabilities.We expect you to be an excellent communicator, team player, and collaborator with greatrelationship-building skills. Goes without saying that you will be customer-focused and drivenby technology & data, and have exceptional analytical skills.Your competencies will include the following:Essential: To know & understand the Messaging landscape at the back of your handUsed to business development/interconnect deals with CpaaS/Telecom companiesBrings Network of CpaaS and messaging providersNegotiatorTechnical Skills:- SMS Infrastructure - Technical and business knowledgeMessaging Insights and AnalyticsMessaging Industry trends, Competition and future scenarios Desired: Product Background (build products in SMS, Messaging, CpaaS space)Product MarketingPrior experience in International business, working on interconnect deals with Internationaloperators/cloud Telephony Companies or Carrier Relationships Management and / orProduct Management would be preferredYour Key Results Areas will be: New Features/Capabilities Introduced (vs Planned)SMS and Messaging Coverage (Customer Requests Vs Delivered)Budget Vs Actual - SMS Costs (Unit costs, Contribution and overall Margin)Profit & Loss - Messaging businessQualifications & skills: Degree in Engineering or MBA or a related fieldRelevant experience of 8+ years, overall experience of 14+ yearsReporting to: CEO Job Location: Remote, with regular travel to Pune,
