Job Description

    At Eatons Sales & Markeitng Center, we are looking for a seasoned marketing professional to provide leadership to the Creative CoE. The Creative CoE works with Eatons global businesses to support development of marketing collaterals, including website maintenance and driving traffic, marketing emails, videos and other marketing campaign assets. The primary resposibilities of this role include:
    • Building long term vision for the CoE and translating the vision into an actionable roadmap. This position builds internal capabilities and alignment with stakeholders to support accomplishment of business markeitng objectives and the CoE roadmap.
    • Drive the introduction and adoption of new age visualization technologies in alignment with Eaton s digital roadmap. Deploys analytics, including SEO, to drive traffic to Eaton s digital medium.
    • Provide guidance to the CoE to create standardized processes, performance dashboards and deploy project management approach to deliver digital solutions to global businesses.
    • Act as Business Relationship Manager [BRM] for all of Eaton s businesses with responsibility to develop Creative CoE as agency of choice for creating and managing Eaton s digital assets. Builds CoE capabilities to serve Web, 3D and Graphic assets meeting industry quality standards with competitive cost advantage.
    • As a member of the SMC Leadership Team, actively participates and contributes to key initiatives in SMC, engages with other CoE heads to identify opportunities for value proposition enhancement through internal collaboration.
    In addition to the primary responsibilities above, this position performs below key activities:
    • Provide day-to-day management and guidance to the activities of the Creative CoE (people, processes and technology)
    • Provide design guidance to team vertical managers and designers alike from personal design experience.
    • With the help of the vertical managers and the corporate Brand team, ensure that all work is on-brand and compliant with corporate design standards
    • Develop performance metrics and reporting on Creative CoE output overall and for specific clients and groups.
    • Effectively manage customer billing and revenue realization.
    • Develop and foster external networks and contacts (customers, academia, and institutions) to help build futuristic thought on technology and attract talent
    • Develop, mentor and motivate a high caliber team to achieve key objectives in a high visibility and tight deadline expectation environment.
    Qualifications
    • Graduate in business or finance required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred
    • Expertise in business development and account management in a creative services environment a plus.
    • Must have extensive background in managing teams of at least 10 people in a creative services environment, either in comparable roles in other companies or in design agencies.
    • Need 15-plus years of experience in marketing communications, professional services or other creative services environments.
    • PMI certified PMP or SCRUM Master
    • International exposure to working with senior executives and stakeholders in EMEA and Americas.
    • Demonstration of a strategic understanding of emerging channels, such as social media, mobile and digital, a plus
    • Proven ability to make a professional and positive impression with senior management in current/past organizations
    • Demonstrated skill and experience in English language writing and proof-reading a plus
    • Must have a working knowledge of key design software, such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

    • Initiative and a strong work ethic are necessary as much of the work is self-directed by nature
    • Self-starter, able to take initiative to create tools, standardized reports and pricing processes
    • Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive change in a complex organization.
    • Ability to navigate the matrix organization structure and build relationships to get work done will be a key determinant for success.
