Job Description

    7 Years of experience,An IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within an organization. Role involves coordinating and leading cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the defined business objectives.Here is a comprehensive job description for an IT Project Manager:
    1. Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, deliverables, and success criteria. Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimation.
    2. Team Management: Build and lead a team of IT professionals, including developers, engineers, analysts, and testers. Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
    3. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project risks and issues and implement contingency plans when necessary. Ensure that projects adhere to organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
    4. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Establish effective communication channels with stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and project team members. Provide regular project updates, status reports, and presentations. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their involvement and support throughout the project.
    5. Budget and Resource Management: Develop project budgets and track expenses. Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity. Monitor project costs and take necessary actions to stay within budget.
    Requirements:
    1. Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Exposure to PLSQL. JAVA stack would be an added advantage.
    2. Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in an insurance industry or domain
    3. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    4. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
    5. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development life cycle (SDLC), and IT service management (ITSM) principles
    6. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
    7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
