Hiring Storage and BackupDesired Skills / Competencies / 1. Storage Administration of the enterprise storage EMC Isilon, HPE Nimble, HPE 3PAR, EVA, MSA, NetApp2. Administration of BROCADESAN switches3. Knowledge of Director class switches, NPIV4. Administration of NAS EMC VNX, Isilon, replication and DR5. Knowledge of multipath verification, monitoring events and work upon events related to storage6. Knowledge on performance monitoring, IOPS and disk drive types7. Experience with storage migration activities using host based logical volume mirroring and storage based migration method8. Ability to work and lead project independently9. Coordinate with multiple teams and Change management for changes to be done in the infrastructure10. Coordinate with vendor for break/fix issue and new HW installation11. Hands-on experience with Enterprise level SAN tape libraries and good exposure on advanced backup functions like Synthetic Backups, NDMP backups, Disk Staging12. Data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as using virtual tape, disk to disk to tape, data replication and recovery solutions13. UNIX and Windows systems administration experience14. File System and Database Familiarity15. Experience with Configuration of Media and Master Servers, Hardware and Software troubleshooting and new device configuration16. Expertise in Managing Backup policies, storage pools for daily, weekly and monthly backups17. Proficient in Netbackup installation, configuration, maintenance and disaster recovery18. Good understanding of the impact and importance of storage services to customers19. Good verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to support 24x7 critical operations per business requirements20. Create and maintain necessary documentation and procedures in support of the storage and backup infrastructure21.
