Job Description

The HR Generalist is responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise by providing a wide range of HR support and advice. This includes, but not limited to, guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.-General Responsibilities Provides advice on issues, including but not limited to; benefits, payroll, and general policy and procedures Provides advice to departmental managers to assess employment needs, and participate in recruiting efforts to identify, interview, hire and train qualified candidates Organize and update organization charts, employee files, employee information and locate/distribute any documents as needed Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems Identify and be involved in the creation and implementation of updated processes, and make any recommendations to the company based on findings Keeps abreast with employment, state, federal and local regulations and communicates impact to HR managementExperience / Qualifications A university degree and 4-6 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree) or a higher level degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Doctorate degree) Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers-

  • Work with business managers to identify the talent needs and work with HR CoEs to conduct recruiting activities to select and place the right candidates to the right position at the right time
  • Work with the business managers and with HR CoEs to develop and implement the training activities including NEO, Mandatory Training Courses and other development programs
  • Support the business managers to manage employee performance and succession planning process
  • Support the business leaders on organization planning and change initiatives
  • Provides local market insights on compensation & benefits practices, talent retention initiatives and work with HR leadership to take necessary actions
  • Provide insights on employee communication, engagement initiatives and lead the implementation in India
  • Work with the HR CoEs to ensure full compliance to local rules and regulations
  • Advocate the compliance & integrity culture, enhance the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics education
  • Maintain the employee data in the system and ensure data accuracy on timely manner
  • Put employee s health and safety first, collaborate with ESH team and regional/local leadership team to make timely decisions and ensure a safe and healthy working environment
  • Understand business operating model and maintain strong relationship with business leadership to be able to provide professional advices, coaching and recommendations
  • Be the HR contact to interact with employees, provide support and advices
  • Be a member of the Asia HR Leadership Team, engage, contribute and collaborate with the team, provide local market insights
