Job Description

    Major Roles & Responsibilities:Primarily responsible for intercompany: AR/AP reconciliations. Payables: Responsible for monthly book closure, provisioning, spend analysis, DPO analysis, payroll accounting &; vendor management. Identifying process improvement areas viz. control account reconciliations, developing vendor portal Banking and Treasury: Expertise in cash flow management, investments in liquid market, import payments, FX hedging, arranging buyers credits, currency swaps, clearing EDPMS/IDPMS open issues, compliance of capital infusion and ECB guidelines, monitoring LC & BG transactions. Inventory Management: Hands on experience in physical verification of inventory, inventory reconciliations, provisioning &; adjustments. Reporting on slow moving inventories, inventorying direct material costs Period Closing and MIS and Audits: Ensure all necessary provisioning are made in month end, quarterly &; annual finalization of accounts as per IND as for statutory audits & FRS reporting for group consolidation, coordinating & managing limited reviews & Statutory Audits, J-Sox &; Internal Audits. Analyzing & interpreting financial data & recommends changes to policies & procedures. Process Improvements/Automation: Key project manager for transformation of traditional method of banking to automations like-E-document warehousing for import payments, H2H integration for domestic payments, ACH debits for dealers, liquidity management solutions, Enabling 3 way match for vendor invoice booking, payroll automation, Implementing SAP integrated document management system, travel expense reimbursement module on intranet portal. Prepared SOP, desktop procedures &; support to other functions in framing policies. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Maintaining healthy relationship with internal customers viz. logistics, stores, purchase, &; HR department as well with external customers like bankers, vendors, foreign expats &; auditors.,
