Job Description

Position Overview:

Data governance is a combination of people, processes and technology that drives high-quality, high-value information. This ensures that data, processes, and people can be trusted and accountable, and that accurate information flows through the enterprise driving business efficiency.

As part of the Data Governance Team, the Inventory Optimisation Data Analyst is responsible for reviewing information for accuracy, and loading that information into the various Optimas data systems within agreed upon time-frame. This role is critical to achieving corporate goals by establishing the correct system parameters that allow the company to effectively purchase, stock and sell parts.

Main Responsibilities:

The Inventory Optimisation Data Analyst will:

  • Understand the basic company work flow in order to determine if requests meet existing co mpany guidelines and policies
  • Review data submitted f or accuracy and applicability
  • Accurately enter approved data elements into the various Optimas data systems
  • Ensure entry requests are completed on time and accurately
  • Communicate effectively with all employees to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Effectively manage the flow of information from the System Setup Team to the Parts and Induction Teams to ensure part setup accuracy and timeliness

  • Understand company policy and guideli nes to vet submitted requests System Setups completed within specified time frame Accurate entry results Seamless integration between Parts and Induction teams to ensure agreed upon implementation guidelines

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years work experience
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Exceptional data entry skills (computer, keyboard, mouse)
  • Good Microsoft Excel capabilities
  • Goo d interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills
  • Highly motivated, high energy, can do attitude, competitive self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
