This is a multiyear program of work which will involve working with cutting edge technology and engaging Front-to-Back across multiple teams and groups., minimum of degree qualification in an Java software development (Java 8+), 2+ years of commercial experience (Financial Services preferred), solid background in Agile development, and a history of working in a team, experience with Java Enterprise and the Spring Framework (Container, MVC, JDBC), proven capability using ORM concepts and SQL skills, good grounding in object-oriented design principles (SOLID), knowledge of source control systems (e.g. GitLab,GitHub, SVN, etc), proven capability writing Unit and Automated integration tests in a TDD approach with use of Fakes / Mocking frameworks, Unix and shell-scripting know-how, involvement with CI/CD (e.g. Team City / Gitlab pipelines), flair for designing enterprise SOA applications, using development Design Patterns, and focusing on: performance; volume; scalability; extensibility, knowledge of web front-end technologies (i.e. HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like React/Angular) is an additional asset. a clear communicator, able to summarize technical information for a variety of stakeholders an enthusiastic, highly-motivated team player resilient, thriving in a challenging environment to deliver business benefits within agreed deadlines
