Job Description:The Java Senior Developer will act as the Integration Specialist and manage the Integration/UI Projects involving BMC Remedy and other Java / J2EE Technologies developed and maintained in Open JDK 13.You will be involved in the development lifecycle from design, implementation, testing and release with a focus on delivering solutions against business goals, technical requirements and platform engineering standards.Job Responsibilities:

  • Java backend Enhancements and development related to the mission-critical web-apps & API, Full stack development and support UI(s) developed in Angular JS.
  • Develop and maintain the microservices developed using Spring boot 1 or 2.
  • Cluster maintenance of SOLR Servers and Creation of SOLR Schemas based on requirement on cloud setup.
  • Support to SRE Team on P1/P2 issues & provide continuous KT on new technical features & functionalities
  • Innovate on existing JENKINS platform to support faster silent deployments.
  • Proficient in Agile-Scrum Methodologies for faster adoption to project delivery.
  • Work with BSA (Business System Analysts) and System Owners in gathering detailed requirements and designing new integrations.
  • Work with Global teams across the world (in different time zones), conduct peer reviews, design reviews, and code reviews.
  • Work with Remedy / Cross functional teams on ensuring that code is migrated correctly, and the functionality is accurate.
  • Able to write project and technical documents and reports.
  • Should be able to adapt to new technologies and process changes.
  • Willingness to work with offshore team members during off hours. Ability to work under tight timelines and project milestones.
  • Willing to work in shifts.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • BS/MS EE/CS degree or equivalent with 5 to 6 years of software development experience. Preferred some who has done Integration Projects.
  • Experience in Java / J2EE, ANGULAR JS, REACT JS, SOLR/Zookeeper/Elastic Search engine, Shell scripting.
  • Must have strong Experience/Knowledge on Database modeling, Database interaction, SQL, Stored Procedure, SQL Loader and DB fundamentals.
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Familiar with multi-threading and performance tuning.
  • Familiar with Unix/Linux systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts with fellow team members as well as peers in other groups.
  • Must have good development and life cycle management experience of enterprise systems. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in BMC Remedy or CMDB will be an added advantage.
  • IOS App Development or Android App Development will be an added advantage.
