Job Description

PROCESS:

  • Excellent Java Programmer
  • Design and Implement mission critical software solutions at HEIN+FRICKE
  • Develop systems based on Java technologies, including individual contribution.
  • gain detailed understanding of our product owners requirements
  • engage with our customers directly
  • estimate efforts for new features
  • design solutions and take over responsibility for their materialization
  • define the structure of the code
  • be responsible for the overall quality of a complete system
  • do pair programming / code reviews with your teammates
  • participate in technical architecture workshops in which you act as a leading expert
  • be responsible for deploying the solutions into production and solve runtime issues
  • develop first on new technologies
  • document your work professionally
REQUIREMENT:
  • Java 7 or later editions
  • Expert in object-oriented analysis and design principles
  • Expert in Collections, Generics, Streams
  • Producing and consuming RESTful services
  • Consuming SOAP services
  • hands-on experience with at least one JEE container
  • experience in the end-to-end software development process
  • Source control: Git (branching models, merging, solving conflicts)
  • Build: console-based tool like Maven, Ant, Gradle
  • Databases: SQL, Experience working in at least one DBMS
  • Unit testing frameworks: hands-on experience with using Junit
  • Good to have experience in Multithreading
  • Good to have experience in JSF
  • Good to have experience in Eclipse Link
  • Good to have experience in Liquibase
  • Good to have experience in experience in working according to agile methodology
  • Good to have experience in experience in working with European customers
  • 5-7 years experience in commercial Java development, at least 2 different projects
