Job Description

Role and Responsibilities Analyze the customer battery requirements and categories it to different functions Perform calculation for cell / module connection and derive cell number against requirement Work cross-functionally with group function team to analyze needs and coordinate with battery development team Defining system architecture including interface analysis, product requirement and its traceability Coordination of production-relevant requirements with customer plants and manufacturing partners Developing concept and their evaluation Interact with thermal team for simulation result reviews Act as interface to customer and internal team (design and testing) Familiar with major market certification requirements and standards Experience in dealing with automotive development processes Discuss requirement / design issues with respective stakeholder and cross functioning team Work in project and requirements management area Qualifications and Education Requirements BE/ ME in Mechanical/ Automotive Engineering with experience in the Automotive battery design Professional Battery design and development experience (Mechanical, HW) Aware of manufacturing process, components of Battery system Experience in EE design of HV Li-Ion battery packs Familiar with Electrical testing for LV and HV automotive battery systems Passion for and demonstrated success in an entrepreneurial environment Experience in tools and technique used in battery system development Worked on engineering and costing BOM Battery safety standards and testing Mandatory Skills LLS Systems Engineering, Requirement engineering process understanding EV automotive Good English skills in both written and verbal (required) Requirements Engineer EE for Battery Electronics; ability to derive EV battery requirements Components specification and their functional understanding Preferred Skills Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology Analytical skills Familiar with battery Standards,
