Job Description

    Are you a qualified Accountant with an interest in analyzing and substantiating key liquidity and funding metrics Do you have an accounting and controlling background, strong financial or regulatory reporting skills and an ability to work well across an international team We re looking for a motivated, proactive individual with strong communication skills to: substantiate and review liquidity metrics for the net stable funding ratio (NSFR) (including analytical reviews, providing commentary to senior management, etc.) for the Group and other scopes with various frequency (daily, monthly, quarterly, annual) lead review meetings with key stakeholders own key process controls in the NSFR production process operate with a controller mindset, working closely with other finance teams globally to support the delivery of high-quality information, including analysis and preparation of internal control documentation for regulatory filings closely collaborate with Group Treasury, Liquidity & Funding Controllers and Product Controllers support change initiatives, including implementation of new or amended infrastructure or regulatory requirementsYour teamYou will be part of the Group Liquidity & Funding Controlling team, working across five international locations, within the Group and Entity Accounting & Controlling organization.We are an international team, responsible for oversight of the global daily and monthly liquidity and funding processes and preparation and analysis of internal and external regulatory reporting (including the UBS Group Financial Statements). It is our main objective to deliver high-quality liquidity and funding reporting, transparent and agile internal control reporting and ensuring compliance with Swiss regulatory requirements and relevant internal liquidity and funding models. Providing accurate and timely controlling output with valuable insights, our team plays a vital role in supporting management decision making and in protecting the firms liquidity and funding position and overall reputation. We aim to develop subject matter experts in the accounting, financial and reporting space who can communicate effectively within the team and with senior stakeholders. We seek to continuously challenge and enhance processes and controls, build further transparency and insights into our reporting products and identify opportunities for efficiency and automation. With these goals in mind, we are regularly engaged in change initiatives (accounting, reporting and infrastructure related) together with other stakeholders in the Group.We offer an opportunity to leverage and further develop varied skillsets in an inclusive, dynamic and fast-paced environment!, a university degree with a strong understanding of accounting principles (preferably a CA qualification or MBA Finance from a reputed institute) atleast 8 years of Accounting and control experience, preferably in financial services industry experience in Liquidity regulations and reporting across vectors such as LCR, NSFR etc. exhibit Strong commitment to develop, maintain and abide by a strong control framework attention to detail and adherence to deadlines skilled in MS-Excel
