Your essential responsibilities include: Drives the technical delivery of solutions from initiation through development, validation, go-live and user adoption.Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect ensuring that Solution Architectures are in alignment with the overall Enterprise Architecture and Technology strategy.Collaborate with the Solution Designers ensuring that proposed technical design is in alignment with the Architecture Working Group.Partnering across technical teams including Platform, EDM, and support teams to deliver business results and value through projects.Provide solution expertise and architecture guidance for building and maintaining data lake applications, which is going to be back bone of Eaton Business Intelligence applications architecture.Experience with Business Intelligence tools and methods including but not limited to Informatica, Oracle Business Intelligence, Hadoop, NoSQL, Big Data principals, Qlikview, PowerBI, Datascience, Alteryx.Expert level understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence principles.Hands on technical expertise in BI tools - coding, development and guding techncial team on development activities.Expert level understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational database principles.Proven experience working with large data volumes - Data warehouse, Data Lakes/HubsUnderstanding of Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and IOT - Internet of Things.Technofunctional understanding of major ERPs - SAP prefered from data and analytics prespectiveRegularly interacts with the customer to establish processes and advancing BI capability / usability centered on designing and delivering solutions that balance strategic and customer driven needs.Provides guidance / support locally within the region and globally as required to guide and troubleshoot complex problems in a timely manner.Regularly communicates and reinforces status, prioritization and timing back to project, program and organizational leaders of critical success measures, issues, and mitigation strategies.Responsible for process, standards, governance and performance of the shared structures and technical environments.Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline such as: B.E / BTech / MCA / Equivalent (EITC) or B.S. Comp Sci / Mathematics / Engineering / Equivalent
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience with 6+ years experience in design architecture, development, implementation and administration of BI application development.
• Working experience on Cloudera - CDH/CDP - Cloudera Data Platform and Azure.
• Working experience on integration with Cloud Applications - SaaS preferred
• Should have hands on experience on Hadoop ecosystem development including MapReduce/YARN, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Oozie, Zookeeper and Spark.
• Should have strong experience working with different Hadoop distributions like Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR and Apache
• Added advantage if candidate has good understanding on NoSQL Database concepts. Candidate having working experience on any NoSQL database preferred
• Added advantage if candidate has worked on MarkLogic and familiar with concepts like MarkLogic Architecture, E v/s D Node, New feature in ML-9, etc.
• Experience and understanding of data ingestion patterns for DataLake/DataHub and experience in designing & implementing re-usable frameworks/utilities
• Real-time experience work on production grade projects with Terabytes to Petabytes size data set
• Understanding and exposure to datascience/AI/ML projects preferred.
• Understanding and exposure to Java, Python, Shell Scripting, Unix environment preferred
• Understanding and exposure to reporting and analytical tool like QlikView/QlikSense, Power BI and OBIEE preferred
