Job Description

    * Duties and Responsibilities - PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Accountabilities associated with the job) Key responsibilities: Cost management: Cost Accounting of Technology Unit Supporting IT vertical: Providing quality comments with critical in-depth Cost Analysis for Technology Unit Identifying cost save and enhancement opportunities and recommending corrective actions to encash the opportunities Deep involvement in OPEX & CAPEX for IT Business Budgeting simulations: Reforecast / Long Range Planning / Annual operating Plans Cloud Cost Optimisation Workload optimisation vendor billing Project Cost Analysis Commercial settlements & External partner management Commercial settlement with external partners and efficient transaction structuring Cost save and efficiency Projects: Identify and drive Cost save opportunities in the Technology business Identifying and optimizing the processes leading to higher efficiency Team Management: Handling a team of 1 direct reportee 4. MAJOR CHALLENGES (Challenges faced on an on-going basis in carrying out the job) Various stakeholder management 5. DECISIONS (Key decisions taken by job holder at his/her end) Cost Provisions Discussions with various stakeholders on cost optimisation opportunities 6. INTERACTIONS (Key working relationships a job holder needs to have INSIDE and OUTSIDE the company to accomplish the job) Internal Clients Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work Delivery heads CTO Various Delivery Heads of different IT Projects External Clients Roles you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work Business partners to the project / company 7. DIMENSIONS (Key numerical data which will reflect the scope and scale of activities concerning this job) Financial Dimensions (These should be quantifiable numerical amounts) Annual savings INR in Cr , * SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE (Minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent) Educational Qualifications a) Qualifications CA or Cost Accountant or MBA from a reputed institute b) Work Experience 1. 6 8 years of experience 2. Experience in all or few of the skills listed: Cloud cost optimization, license billing optimization, Workload optimization, Clear understanding or OPEX & CAPEX, Vendor billing, Cost analysis of Resource procurement, Development & Project finance, Financial analysis for IT Infra & maintenance
