* Duties and Responsibilities - WHY THIS POSITION IS REQUIRED Content is central to how our brand engages with customers. We believe the true potential of content lies in enabling customer journeys across the path to purchase. We are seeking a talented storyteller to conceptualize stories around our products and manage our in-house team of content marketers WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone who will conceptualize and create high-quality influential readable and meaningful brand content to reach and engage our target audience. We expect him/her to develop content in all forms around our catalogue of products. Experience of having worked for a digitally native company is a must. Experience of working at a newspaper website or a magazine in an editorial capacity is ideal. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Must have a strong command over the English language Must be able to ideate/write creative interesting customer-friendly and engaging original content in multiple formats including articles blogs press releases guest blogs social contents and others. Must ensure that all content created is consistent in terms of style quality and tone of voice and optimized for search and user experience for all channels. Will be responsible for mapping out a content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives both short and long-term. Will be responsible for developing standards systems and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation distribution maintenance content retrieval and content repurposing including the real-time implementation of content strategies. Should have the ability to research and ideate/write well thought through long form articles and website content Will be expected to lead the agency ecosystem to support creation of content Should use news/events/seasonalities and the business strategic plan as the basis for developing themes for content campaigns Will produce original and clear ideas for brand content initiatives Will map out and manage a content strategy to support short-term and long-term marketing initiatives from product launches to content campaigns Will manage a company-wide editorial calendar Will develop standards systems and best practices (both human and technological) for the creation distribution maintenance retrieval and repurposing of content Will also have to proofread all communications and ensure information accuracy , * Masters degree in Journalism/English Literature/Marketing, or equivalent, and at least 6 years of demonstrated experience in writing/editing/publishing content - Should have experience in writing/creating content for websites, social media, blogs, mobile apps, online media, landing pages, product demos, email, and others - Prior experience in managing a content team APTITUDE - Ownership - High on ambition - Attention to Detail - Adaptiveness - Execution rigour
