  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field
  • 9-12 years of professional experience in technical engineering.
  • Five (5) years of automation experience
  • Three (3) years of professional experience with cloud computing (IAC, Microsoft Azure, AWS)
Primary Skills
  • Deliver an optimized infrastructure services design, automated systems leveraging public, private, and hybrid Cloud architectures and services with Azure/AWS.
  • Evaluate tools / services and new technologies and suggests the right service and technology to be used and communicate effectively across teams implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Hands-on experience engineering, deploying, and managing CICD pipelines in an enterprise scale environment utilizing Jenkins, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, or any other build automation tool
  • Knowledge of the DevOps culture, principles and DevOps frameworks.
  • Experience in managing and deploying cloud-based resources via declarative Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks like ARM, Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Experience with the commonly used managed services in cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) with a working knowledge of their CLIs
  • Experience with source control, such as TFS, GIT or Azure Repos, in a collaborative development environmen
  • Proficient with Python (preferred) or Bash scripting to automate provisioning of cloud resources and configurations. Knowledge of configuration management tool like Ansible, Chef will be an advantage
  • Experience setting up the infrastructure, processes, and tools for container-based development and deployment (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Tiller)
  • Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, VPCs, DNS, load balancers, security groups, firewalls, Hub/Spoke architecture, security guardrails for Azure.
Secondary Skills
  • An Agile mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills leveraging the Atlassian Stack (JIRA, Confluence).
  • An understanding of production environments, including the requirement for high availability and team oriented 24x7 support capabilities
  • Experience with development languages such as Java, Python, C/C++, PHP, or .Net
  • Background in software design and development for implementing API-based cloud service orchestration in a distributed environment of application, caching and messaging platforms. Knowledge of Redis and messaging queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub will be a plus
  • Incorporate security tools scans, and quality gates (like CheckMarx, Qualys) into the CICD pipelines to adhere to regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of Cloud Provider Services such as AWS, GCP, Azure or PCF
