Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Brake system Design and development (Experience in Air brakes preferred) Handling complete project lifecycle concept design to establishing product in the field Target setting performance, reliability, durability, cost and weight etc. Vehicles level and component level DVP requirements Fully aware of Homologation requirements Root cause analysis and concern resolution To handle customer complaints with respect to brakes To co-ordinate with supplier for development of brakes To ensure testing of brakes as per laid norms To ensure compliance of all safety norms as per Govt regulation Experience 5 to 8 yrs. Industry Preferred Qualifications BE/ ME General Requirements Technical Skills:Well-versed on CATIA software with 3D & 2D expertiseKnowledge of brake system selection (Pneumatic / Hydraulic)Knowledge of foundation Brake & lining development and electronic interface and in vehicle networking for ABS/Retarder/ ESC ( Electronic Stability Control )Validation of pneumatic Components and system.Knowledge of IS and ECE standardKnowledge of GD&T, piping and routingKnowledge of part design, metallurgy and CATIAKnowledge of global standardsFunctional Skills:Problem Solving & Decision MakingEnergy & DriveGood analytical skillsJob Segment: Hydraulics, Metallurgy, Engineering, Manufacturing ,
