Job Description

    The Manager, Business Process Management, is responsible for developing and implementing a business process management framework for the Shared Services organization. The framework includes, but is not limited to, the processes, systems, tools, and approach to process hierarchy, process documentation, process health, cross-functional connectivity, process role clarity, and ongoing maintenance & change control standards. An effective business process management approach will standardize and simplify access to key business knowledge, as well as provide the ongoing discipline to maintain a single source of business process truth. The position collaborates with Global Process Owners, Shared Service Operations leaders and practitioners, other members of the Central Capabilities team, and key functional stakeholders such as IT, Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, HR, etc. This position initially will serve as an individual contributor with the potential to expand into a manager of people. Key Responsibilities - Define and implement the business process management framework. The framework includes, but is not limited to, the processes, systems, tools, and approach to process hierarchy, process documentation, process health, cross-functional connectivity, process role clarity, and ongoing maintenance & change control standards. - Work with Global Process Owners to define and maintain the business process hierarchy for Shared Services and related functions as appropriate. - Define the standards for Service Catalogues, Joint Accountability Agreements and other standard documents that enhance overall Shared Service Customer Experience as it relates to standardized business process management.- Design and implement the process documentation standards.- Collaborate with Central Capabilities and the Shared Service global process owners and Operations teams to facilitate complex or cross functional process mapping activities. - Define, train, and enforce adherence to the requirements for processes in good standing.- Define and implement KPIs and performance measures associated with business process management.- Develop and provide training, education, and communication on benefits and best practices for business process management.- Collaborate with IT on system implementation / enhancement initiatives related to Business Process Management and Service Management.- Administer and maintain business process management technology; develop and deliver appropriate training on BPM systems.- Identify and drive continuous improvement, inclusive of root cause analysis, process opportunity identification and automation potential.- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure global alignment of priorities working in a matrixed environment. Qualifications & Experience- Business Administration- Minimum 5 years of process and/or project work experience in a complex, global organization. - Demonstrated experience working with process mapping, process documentation, process controls, process improvement, and / or process change management- Formal experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, and/or APQC/ASQ desirable- Stakeholder management experience with ability to influence and persuade key stakeholder and to constructively deal with conflicts.- Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed global environment.- Demonstrated experience of executing process transformation initiatives.- Demonstrated experience initiating enabling technologies - Familiarity with application of RPA technologies desirable.Must demonstrate the following competencies:- Process focused and improvement orientation.- Attention to detail with a strong technology aptitude.- Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence without authority- Collaboration, influence, and relationship management aptitude to establish credibility and confidence with customers and associates.- Excellent written and verbal presentation skillsThis job opening was posted long time back.
