Job Description

    What You will Do:Deep understanding of architectural concepts, issues and trends in the HR solutions area covering Hire to Retire business capabilities.Solid focus on user experience, customer satisfaction and able to build positive relationships with business partnersCollaborate with business stakeholders, partners and internal IT team to understand business requirements and craft a solution with a range of HR technologies and capabilitiesDrive data integrity between systems including developing new audits to capture data errors and ensure check and balance is operational across systemsProvide day-to-day system support, including resolution of all system related issues - business process configuration, security fundamentals, calculated fields, report writer, integrations, EIBs and Workday StudioStrong Workday functional experience in Core HCM, Recruitment, Benefits, Compensation, Absence / Time Tracking, Talent and PayrollWork directly with HR, Payroll and IT partners to confirm requirements, identify gaps and risks, suggest alternatives, advice on best practices, facilitate discussions and ultimately drive requirements to sign-offDevelop and lead training sessions as necessaryConduct and coordinate testing with new upgrade features & releasesProvide subject matter expertise and perspective to influence the HR Technology roadmap and prioritization of initiativesKey Skills/Experience Requirements:B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, HR related discipline, or equivalent work experience preferred9+ years of progressive HR operations and technology experience is preferred.Ideally 5+ years in Workday with at least 2 full cycle workday implementations preferred2+ years of experience leading teams and people in an offshore environment with demonstrable ability to develop and grow phenomenal talentWorkday Certification is preferredSolution Planning - including solution, scope, estimates, assumptions, and risksWell-versed in support. Should be able to handle support issues and enhancement projects.Deep understanding of software development life cycles, development and technology tools, testing methodologies, and requirements gathering.Experience in the full range of Workday proprietary tools (Report Writer, Calculated Fields, EIB, Workday Studio, BP Config)Experience and fluency in Web Services standards and technologies (XML, XSLT, XPath, Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, etc.)Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills with ability to manage project scope and client expectationsExcellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skillsAt Veritas, we care about the causes close to your heart and enable you to volunteer, donate, and do good.
