Job Description

    Summary of This RoleManages the activities related to delivering creative, effective, and efficient graphical, web, or multimedia user interfaces. Evolves methodologies and procedures used in the testing and analysis to ensure products meet high standards of usability and design excellence. Sets the user experience plan and ensures it adheres to industry best practices, utilizes advanced interface concepts, and aligns with business objectives. Works closely with the site and system analytics to understand client needs and behaviors both prior to efforts and when evaluating usability of proposed solutions.What Part Will You Play Provides leadership and mentorship to the UX/Product Design team. Ensures the overall well being of their team Review goals and objectives with individual UX/Product Designers on a quarterly basis. Conduct annual performance appraisals for the UX/Product Designers. Remove obstacles concerning tools for UX/Product Designers to successfully perform their roles. Provide visibility into team/team member accomplishments. Create, assist and follow-up on professional development/career progression plans. Interview and hire new team members. Lead on-boarding of new UX/Product Designers. Update UX/Product Designer Career-Pathing sheets. Collaborate and liaise with other Product Strategy and Product Delivery leaders in achieving company goals. Monitor new management changes and procedures.What Are We Looking For in This Role Minimum Qualifications 6+ years experience with Product Design 6+ years experience leading teams in a professional setting Advanced Product Design discipline skills Advanced leadership skills Advanced organizational skills Advanced conflict management/resolution skills Advanced negotiation skills Advanced analytical skills Advanced proficiency with office-based applications (word processing, spreadsheets, diagramming, slide presentation, etc.) Advanced written and verbal communication skills to include technical writing abilities.
