Job Description

We are looking for someone passionate about market research, excited about what makes customers happy, and motivated by the opportunity to work on a global team serving multiple business units in the legal and financial services spaces.This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in advancing their career in market research. The Market Research Analyst is a resource for internal clients in designing and executing custom research and enterprise feedback management projects. The Market Research Analyst will be located in our Pune office and work closely with experienced research professionals in our New York office and data science colleagues in New York & Pune.The Market Research Analyst is responsible for designing, managing, analyzing, and insightfully reporting primary market research data and creating compelling presentations for internal clients. You will work closely with senior members of the Voice of Customer team and our internal clients/stakeholders to understand the objectives of projects and develop the appropriate research approach. Specific responsibilities will include survey development/questionnaire writing, survey programming & testing, data analysis and reporting, and developing presentations in PowerPoint creating charts, graphs, and analyses.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Partner with senior team members in managing the entire project lifecycle for quantitative and qualitative research, including internal client management and communication. Contribute to the design of surveys that address the internal client s business questions Program surveys in approved platforms (Qualtrics, InMoment); design dashboards in the InMoment platform to meet the needs of internal clients. Assist with/own project administration tasks such as creating and updating project schedules (managing project timelines, meeting all milestones), creating meeting agendas/delivering meeting recaps, and monitoring project budgets. Actively own/manage and closely work with external vendors/consultants to oversee all operational components of projects, including questionnaire programming/testing, monitoring data collection & providing status reports. Analyze and interpret survey results; collaborate on creating client-ready reports and presentations, including template creation, table/chart formatting, proofreading, and editing. Effectively communicate with team leadership, internal clients, peers, and other senior staff.Other Duties:Proactively pursues professional development activities (e.g., learning new tools, techniques)Perform internal trainings, knowledge sharing, build process documents, etc., as requested by the Customer Insights leadership team.Partner with Data Science and Technology teams to operationalize Customer Study results. Act as the internal Voice of the Customer in those initiatives.Qualifications:Education

  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing Research, Marketing, Quantitative Marketing or Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology), Statistics, or a related field of study with an analytic/quantitative/research focus.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of professional market research experience on either the client-side or in a customer-facing role on the agency/vendor side, which demonstrates:
    • Affinity for numbers and their meaning
    • Experience with survey development/questionnaire writing
    • Experience programming surveys in Qualtrics or other platforms (e.g., InMoment, MaritzCX, Medallia) or a strong desire to learn quickly.
    • Expert in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, functions, graphing, data validation) and PowerPoint (e.g., charting)
    • Ability to present data findings in an easy to understand manner to internal clients less familiar with statistical techniques
  • Preferred: Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing Voice of Customer survey programs, including:
    • Experience in a Business to Business setting a plus.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, consultative role a plus
    • Statistical analysis background is desirable; basic knowledge of at least one statistical software package (e.g., SQL, SPSS, Alteryx) a plus.
