Job Description

  • URGRNT HIRING FOR NETWORK ENGINEER
ATTRACTIVE SALARY PACKAGE INNEDIATE JOINING
  • Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
  • Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
  • Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation
  • Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
  • Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Arranging scheduled upgrades
  • Investigating faults in the network
  • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders
    • They need to maintain and control computer networks and related computing environments together with structures software, programs software, hardware, and configurations.
    • They need to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and other network and system problems.
    • Have to layout the design and implementation of new solutions and improve the resilience of the modern surroundings.
    • Must perform disaster recovery operations and record backups when required.
    • They need to monitor overall network performance to decide if changes want to be made.
    • Must carry out the configuration of routing and switching equipment
  • Strategy & Planning Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs. Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records. Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery. Acquisition & Deployment Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, switches, UPSs, and other hardware. Design, implement, and support firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, and remote-access VPNs Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry. Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades. Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services. Operational Management Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed. Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances. Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information. Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports. Participate in managing all network security solutions. Perform server and security audits, and system backups and recovery
