Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Research Scientist to join our team based in Pune, India. You will be working on new and challenging mathematical optimization applications using data science and optimization modeling techniques.

Responsibilities

Working with data to solve operational problems related to planning, pricing and supply chains

Designing, implementing, testing, and deploying robust general-purpose optimization algorithms

Data modeling and analysis, large-scale linear and integer programming, heuristic solutions design, and/or development of efficient optimization implementations

Partnering closely with the solution delivery teams to evangelize the art of possible with optimization approaches

About You

Bachelor s degree in a quantitative field such as applied mathematics, computer science, operations research, industrial engineering, or related field

Experience with optimization methods and solvers (CPLEX, Gurobi, COIN-OR, etc.)

Proactive self-starter who is comfortable working remotely without micromanagement of day-to-day tasks
