Prophet is used by many global insurance organizations, and the role will allow you to be part of the Prophet application support team, as part of the FIS Insurance Client Experience team.What you will be doingYour primary responsibilities will be to provide a high level of client experience in form of support and technical expertise for helping clients get the best use out of the applications and to further develop the product.Principal Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be involved in all the following aspects of the role:

  • Support help clients resolve problems related to the Prophet application and other associated applications related to Prophet. Types of activities include:
  • Identify technical/IT issues
  • Guidance in how to improve the user experience of Prophet and other associated applications
  • Assist in solving complex issues such as functional numerate and/or technical issues
  • Problem solving and assessment of actuarial and technical support to clients
  • Working with clients to help them get the most out of Prophet and other associated applications
  • Recommend customer training or consulting support where required
  • Make infrastructure recommendations to clients most suited to their modelling and needs
  • Develop providing support to Prophet Product Managers as part of the product development lifecycle, including:
  • Running model test packs, assisting with software UAT and feedback
  • Working closely with onsite technical & actuarial consultants and other geographically dispersed support staff and clients.
  • Reporting Create and analyze service desk reports to identify problems and areas for improvement and quality control in line with internally agreed OLAs and client SLAs
What you bring: Knowledge / Experience
  • Knowledge or experience of applying actuarial processes and methods used by insurance customers in modelling
  • Experience interacting with other Actuaries/Clients and managing escalations
  • Experience using FIS Prophet Professional or other modelling application(s)
  • Knowledge of basic IT environments, hardware and technology (servers, networks, virtualization and cloud).
  • Experience with Microsoft desktop and/or Server technologies.
  • Knowledge of VBA and SQL Server
  • Experience working in multiple shifts - Desirable
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s Degree in Actuarial Science [honours or 2.1/high level degree] or one year post-graduate actuarial experience and Masters Degree or higher in technology related field, or other relevant field of study, or the equivalent in education and experience.
  • FRM (desirable)
