    • Eaton, a market leader in power management, is also a trusted brand in Electrical Panels, Switch boards, Switches & various connected solutions to the complex problems including cybersecurity, cutting-edge technology, and ultimately valuable solutions for our customers.
    • At Eaton India Innovation Center, Electrical Sector Americas is looking for Engineering Manager to join our CRDS CPA devision! This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune. This position is for leading specific team of Commercial & Residential distributed system team.
    • The Engineering Manager CRDS CPA - P&S will be a key member of the team driving the growth to the business. The position will lead the Application engineering, NPI, Sustainability, VAVE activities of the P&S productline by effectively leveraging industry standard best practices. We are looking for motivated professionals with strong skills in technical leadership along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Job Responsibilities:
    • Lead a team of 25+ members works in NPI, Costout, Application engineering, Innovation, etc.
    • Lead the team to execute the customer orders, maintain the OTD, and quality metrics. Also drive the team for high productivity by training, process Automation,etc.
    • Drive the Application engineering / Engineert to Order / Requisition engineering team for higher productivity through the process automation, tool implementation, skill development, etc.
    • Hands on experience in Managing team uses Electrical CAD by using Auto CAD Electrical, E-Plan, etc.
    • Lead the key NPI projects, drive for cost effective solution, Patent generation, Digital design, etc.
    • Coach, develop and grow the next line of leader including front line managers, lead engineers, Sr.Engineers.
    • Work with global Product engineering Manager to develop the strategies, execute projects to meet the profitability and revenue target.
    • Shape Focus area and build portfolio that matters. Define clear road map for next 3 - 5 years and execute action items to mitigate identified gaps. Leverage EIIC ecosystem for validation to accelerate time to market.
    • Define Digitalization strategy for various products considering competitor landscape working closely with Electrical Sector COEs and Digital organization.
    • Build culture of innovation through planned events, drive brain storming events. Identify opportunities for filling disclosures and execute division goals for IP.
    • Build Organization Capabilities Hire and development plans for the talents for CRDS business.
    • Collaborate with third partiers for project execution
    • Provide Technical mentoring and guidance to EIIC team for project hurdles
    • Develop best in class QA strategy and leaverage QA best practices across the organization
    • Driving continuous improvement initiatives for higher quality and productivity including but not limited to Design For Six Sigma, Agile.
    Qualifications Requirement:
        • Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical/Electrical/Other relavant.
        • 15+ years of hands-on experience in Managing multi decipline team such as Electical, Mechanical team. Minimum 4+ years in leadership, people management role.
        • Experience in Managing NPI, VAVE, Application engineering team with a proven track record of delivering high quality solutions to customers.
        • Driving the Innovation culture, Process improvement, Costout focus, Smart solution to the electrical products, etc.
        • Develop a electro mechanical team from scratch, identify the skills set requirement, develop a long term strategic plan for Panels and switch boards product portfolio.
        • DFSS 6 Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt
        • Auto CAD, E-Plan
        • Very good understanding of Eaton Panels & Switch board product portfolio, knowlege of competitor products, various smart solutions relvant to Panels and Switch boards.
        • Excellent skills in delegation, decision making, sets clear objectives to the team, measures & strives for continuous improvement.
        • Developing direct reports provides challenging assignments and creates opportunities; constructs compelling development plans and executes them.
        • Business acumen knows how business work; knowledgeable in current and possible future technologies; knows the competition.
        • Peer relationships can quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all; can represent his/her own interests and yet be fair to other groups.
        • Action oriented enjoys working hard; is action oriented and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging
        • Good communication skills in English (verbal and written) to communicate information effectively to customers, and technical staff in global environment, Inluencing, Drive for Result
