Job Description

  • 05+ years experience in sales
  • A minimum of one (1) years of SaaS sales experience is a must
  • Previously successfully managed sales and account management teams
  • Prior retail or telesales experience in FMCG sector is favourable
  • Plan and manage pre-sales, post-sales client experience SaaS specific
  • Managing the pipeline of deals to create a predictable sales funnel
  • Supporting and training sales executives in generating leads and closing deals
  • Work with development teams to ensure that agreed customisation is carried in the right place and within the right time
  • Defining performance metrics, quotas, and expectations for goal setting for the sales team
  • To identify an opportunity by research and explain the product to a potential client and then persuading them to take a demo with a goal to convince them to take subscription
  • Research client needs and explain the benefits of the product, responding to any objections
  • Be responsible for after-sales assistance with software for the assigned clients
  • Travel to meet potential clients for presentations and demo
  • Use CRM and keep record of leads, opportunities, and contacts
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions and meet potential and existing clients
  • Work to maximise sales, close the deals and meet targets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation, planning, and people management skills and ability to respond to objections
  • Have a positive, adaptable, and empathetic approach to leadership roles
  • Naturally outgoing and sociable
  • Should have excellent telephone manner with good written and oral communication skills
  • Should be able to speak persuasively, effectively, and concisely. Should understand a prospects need and know how to adjust their tone, diction, and speed to match the conversation flow of their client
  • Should understand technology and be able to understand the SaaS product, its capabilities
  • Strong, self-motivated with a go-getter attitude
  • Knack to persuade clients of the merits of the product they are selling
  • Should have a patient personality, good negotiation skills and the ability to respond to objections
  • Should be persistent, resilient, and able to handle pressure but also be good listeners in order to understand clients needs
  • Good awareness of targets and revenue and have strong self-discipline and attention to detail
  • Should be able to make inferences and logical deductions, reading between the lines to understand the true meanings and desires of their prospects, and be able to elicit pain points strategically
