Job Description

    Job description As Senior SAP Ariba lead, you will be responsible for designing, building and supporting the SAP Ariba upstream (Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance (SLP) Sourcing) downstream (Buying & Invoicing) modules and related technologies supporting the Source to Pay organizations. You will work with Business, IT Business Partners, vendors and use keen business process understanding, appreciation for simplicity and quality, out of the box thinking and technical knowledge to build holistic solutions that meets AMD business requirements and IT standards. Key Responsibilities : - Work very closely with SourcingProcurement team to understand the business requirements and design & build SAP Ariba solutions. - Support and Maintenance of SAP Ariba production applications in the 24x7 follow the Sun model in a SOX compliant environment. - Providing support to business as they migrate new suppliers and business processes to Ariba. This includes configuration, testing of processes and resolving technical issues. - Build proofs-of-concept (POC) for potential new solutions and technology. - Create and present functional and technical design including data analysis to business team and seek feedback to influence solution design and approach. - Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business use cases. - Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary. Preferred Experience : - 8+ years of experience on Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Guided Buying, Ariba Network and Supplier Lifecyle and Performance (SLP) modules. - Hands-on functional configuration and design experience in SAP Ariba upstreamdownstream modules is a must and SAP S4 systems experience is preferred. - Experienced in RFx, Procure to Pay and Vendor onboarding process in Ariba. - Ariba Integration experience with cXML, IDOCs and using CPI and CIG. - Proficient is calling Ariba APIs using CPImiddleware for reporting. - Highly experienced in setting up Ariba Punch-out and CIF catalogs. - Experience in SAP S4 HANA MM module is a plus. - Exposure to other finance business process areas including Accounts Payable, GL Accounting and Tax is a plus. - Expert in creation of Service request and Incident tickets with Ariba and working with Ariba support teams. - Highly motivated and self-driven, with keen attention to detail and work in a dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company where flexibility is imperative. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - SAP Ariba certification is preferred.
