The role we re looking to fill is a career defining opportunity for someone passionate about this mission and about (mostly Agile) delivery who wants to work with amazing teams of engineers, designers, and product managers in Nairobi and Pune.The products and solutions you ll help build and deliver touch hundreds of thousands of people in some of the fastest growing cities in the world every single day. You will guide and coach agile product squads, manage the delivery of assigned projects, and deliver high quality services bringing the best traditional, agile, or lean methodologies to bear.This role requires significant time spent with colleagues in Nairobi and/or Pune. We will consider candidates based there or willing to relocate there.What You Will Do

• You will explore, embrace, and apply Agile and Lean principles and mindset within the context of a product squad or project team
• As a delivery lead in a product squad, you will be an agile coach and help deliver results through high-value increments, early and often; manage the backlog, ceremonies, and impediments
• As a delivery lead for a project, you will establish the needs, scope, and justification for the project, define clear requirements, an adaptive plan, and then manage delivery against that plan
• As a delivery lead for a service, you ll provide ownership for the performance of that service, ensure high levels of availability, performance, and security - guiding and leading during build and run time
• You will establish effective governance to align the stakeholders and KPIs for measuring performance of teams, processes, solutions, and services; you will improve observability and measurability; you ll ensure the metrics drive actions & behaviours
• You will simultaneously lead delivery for multiple product squads and/or projects and/or services
• You help create an environment of trust, learning, collaboration, and conflict resolution that promotes team self-organisation, enhances intra-team relationships, and cultivates a positive culture

What You Will Bring to KOKO

• 5+ years experience in working with agile (esp. Scrum and Kanban) and traditional delivery approaches - ideally some in a start-up/scale-up environment and in building and shipping product
• You have proven your ability to deliver business results through planning, prioritising and delivering with well defined yet adaptive plans and a clear methodology
• You have affected lasting change through advocating and implementing agile and Lean ways of working in an organisation, through coaching and doing - ideally some as an Agile coach
• You re entrepreneurial; you need little direction; youre self driven and show ownership
• You are a strong communicator
• Have an understanding of the technical architecture of complex web and mobile applications
• You appreciate the entirety of product development and project delivery processes, from discovery over planning and prioritisation to delivery and ongoing service
