Your essential responsibilities include: Monitor BW data loads and regular maintenance jobs provide on-call support and fix issues as required.Expertise in trouble shoot and performance tuning of BW system as required.Prioritize job to ensure adherence to all Support and Request SLAs and adhere to development standards.Develop, test BW objects and reports confirming to development standards followed in Eaton as required based on helpdesk ticket assigned.Design data extraction and loading / Configure BW chains. Develop and enhance DTPs, transfer rules, update rules and start routines and routines necessary for info-packages and variables for complex reporting scenarios.Create, maintain, enhance, document and debug SAP extractors (FI, LO (SD, MM, PP, QM), Vistex, GTS, Master data, custom), create and enhance user exits in ECC system to support BW extractorsReview and installation of SAP BW business content data sources in Source system as well as installation of business content in BW for multiple functional areasDevelop Process chains, Open hub processes, APD processes for extracting data from BW.Knowledge of SAP SLT replicationsKnowledge on BW on HANA ( Views : CDS/ Calculation / Analytical ; Stored procedures ; ADSO )Continually learn new functionality to provide value to our business by enhancing self-knowledge and capability.Document changes and provide KT to team members as requiredWill manage incidents/Requests and changes by troubleshooting and bug-fixing/development of Interfaces, Reports, Conversions, Extensions, Workflow, Forms using SAP development technologies.Expert trouble-shooter and proven expertise as a Production support specialist.Deliver incident, request and change within EATON specified SLAs and updates to stakeholders in timely mannerWill provide production support as needed to address custom and standard development issuesWill deliver in small requests around the globe by development of Interfaces, Reports, Conversions, Extensions, Workflow, and Forms using SAP development technologies.Will continually learn new advanced development technologies and programming techniques to provide value to our business by enhancing self-knowledge and capability.Will provide excellent quality code as well as excellent documentation including unit test scripts and results. Will Maintain zero impact through regression testing in the global environmentWill mentor, train and guide members on the support team memberWill communicate and mentor the support team on global development processes and procedures and ensure that they are adhered to.Will maintain a global mindset during the support process to ensure that the development/fixes will have no impact on global functionality.Recommends and leads improvements to applications and processes in order to decrease incidents and maintain quality. (Demonstrates Problem Management Expertise)Leads continuous improvements on in-scope support initiatives.Participate in application upgrades by testing and documenting functionality in conjunction with Functional analysts.Stays current with Technology trends in Information Technology advancementsProven competency in presentation, training, documentation and supportProficient in estimating and scheduling tasks for self and othersQualifications
• B.E / BTech / MCA / Equivalent (EITC) B.S. Comp Sci / Mathematics / Engineering / Equivalent
• Must have expertise technical knowledge of SAP ECC 4/6 and BW on HANA with a minimum of 7 yrs experience across multiple SAP modules
• Must have extensive knowledge of trouble shooting Production scenarios
• Should be versed with Data load technologies and strategy
• Must have extensive knowledge of integrations with other critical applications within the Eaton landscape
• Ability to take direction and work independently
