Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities As a Senior Backend Engineer, youll build best-in-class SaaS solutions. Youll be akey member of the engineering team, delivering new features and improvements in afast-paced, agile environment using modern technologies. Examples of what you ll be working on:
    • Ship critical customer use cases for Core part of Platform, servicing the entire Product Suite
    • Reduce the maintenance costs of core services
    • Develop and document core services APIs
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across Design, Product Management, and Engineering
    • Improve performance of existing systems
    • Replace legacy components with smaller, easier to maintain services
    • Configure monitoring and alerting systems
    Desired Candidate Profile Skills that will help you succeed:
    • 5+ years professional experience shipping scalable SaaS products
    • Comfortable working with Java 8/11 on Linux env
    • Knowledge on AWS services, CI CD
    • Excellent Programming skills
    • Good hands on knowledge on Microservices Architecture
    • Fluent in a modern compiled language - preferably JVM based
    • Solid OOP and software design knowledge
    • Design Pattern and Design Principles knowledge
    • Successfully built REST APIs, architected database models, and event driven patterns
    • Awareness about any tools and technology used for Authentication and Authorization
    • Ability to produce reusable and readable code and libraries
    • Examples of maintaining, monitoring, and operating reliable, production software
    • Skilled at writing unit and integration tests
    • Collaboration between Front End, Back End, Data, and Ops engineers
    • Experience in optimizing applications for speed and scalability
    Nice to have:
    • Experience with contemporary JVM frameworks
    • Good knowledge on Domain Driven design
    • Hands on experience on implementing SSO
    • Knowledge of Keycloak
    • Knowledge of PostgreSQL
    • Knowledge of GraphQL
    • Knowledge of Functional Programming
    • Clear knowledge of pros and cons of OO and Functional programming
    • Understanding of common k8s and Docker use cases
    • Examples of effective communication techniques via blogs or speaking engagements
