Job Description

The position will be individual contributor & part of business analytics team in Pune, India. This role will be expected to work on building data architecture to integrate ensuring quality of structured & unstructured data [mostly structured]. Will be owner of data management and analysis related to Eaton Global Sales related data. The position will require working in a cross functional team to define and manage data in a sustainable way. This exciting role offers opportunity to: Manage Big Data at global level. Discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data. Help to make smarter decisions to businesses to deliver better services through defining machine learning algorithm. Primary focus would be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction algorithm integrated with our products.

  • Working experience in data integration, data modeling, optimization and quality.
  • Build data architecture for business analyst, also launch new models, data mart
  • Working knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica for data migration & business interfaces
  • Working experience on bigdata echo system architecture like Hadoop, Spark, scala, scoop etc.
  • Knowledge about cloud computing on Microsoft AZUR will be helpful
  • Working knowledge of DBMS- concept & management is much needed by using SQL server, Teradata & similar DB
  • Working experience in MDM
  • Working knowledge of server based platforms like Window s -9x / 2000/XP/MVS etc.
  • Must Analyze source system for optimization
  • Build API s for data access
  • Collaborate globally across business& IT
  • Should have Product based mindset for delivering the analytical products
  • Promote the role and capabilities of IT regarding data and analytics
  • Act as data guru & educating the same across business
  • Work across business units to enable data access & understanding
  • Engage with SME s to build and deliver analytics solutions
  • Interface with customers to ensure that customers receive outstanding service which includes acknowledging and bringing to satisfactory closure of business analytics projects from data architecture stand point
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company
  • Continually research new technology and tools to improve business analytics
  • Follow through the timelines committed and can work on tight deadlines
  • Able to handle multiple projects within and outside function
  • Able to identify optimization and automation scope
  • Work with leadership to prioritize business and information needs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
QualificationsEducation
  • BTech in Computer Science
Preferred Knowledge and Training
  • Possesses min 5 - 7 years of experience in data architecture field
  • Hands on experience in Data Integration, Data Modeling, Developing database for unstructured data, Master data management
