Job Description

    Job Description and Requirements Senior Cloud Data EngineerThe company BHS Corrugated India Pvt Ltd, based in Pune is established in 2011 as a subsidiary of BHS Corrugated, Germany. As an independent player, we act as a partner to the entire industry and network manufacturers, customers, and service providers in a unique industrial ecosystem. We use it to create highly efficient and simple processes with the aim of making the corrugated cardboard industry the most innovative and productive industry segment worldwide.If you also want to face the challenges of a professional setup, support us at the Pune location.Your future tasks will include
    • Design and implementation of a cloud data lake with IIoT data
    • Realization of the specific data lake solution with AWS cloud services
    • Planning and realization of strategies for a data connection from and to third-party systems
    • Collaboration with customers and subject matter experts (machine development, service personnel, UX design, data lab)
    • Infrastructure automation / Infrastructure as Code, CI / CD
    • The operation, monitoring, and quality assurance of the data lake
    Your professional and personal profile
    • Several years of professional experience as a data engineer, data architect, or in a similar field
    • Completed university studies in (business) informatics or comparable education
    • Expert knowledge in Python; Scala or Java is desirable
    • very good knowledge in big data technologies, e.g. Spark as well as experience in software development
    • Expert knowledge in cloud technologies with a focus on AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation), AWS certifications are desirable
    • very good understanding and experience in building a cloud data lake
    • very good experience with version control, primarily Git as well as in optimizing ETL / ELT processes.
    • very confident handling relational and NoSQL database systems
    • analytical thinking, goal-oriented action, ability to work in a team, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for new topics and technologies
    • very good English skills, both written and spoken
    Requirements:
    • Completed education in design, marketing, or related areas
    • Good Feeling for typography, design, and trends
    • Drawing skills
    • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom)
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Confidence in handling design tools, editing programs, and animation software
    • communication and team skills
