What you will be doing Will be responsible for the Data Migration and Loading activities for FIS Data Management for solutions within Capital Markets for the Asset Finance product. What you bring: Participate in designing and developing the data extraction and Data Migration processes. Define and document business rules and Transformation logic required after fact finding and analysis of source systems required for FIS solutions. Able to understand and Translate the FIS solutions Data Models into data Specifications for identifying customer s data appetite. Good understanding of database concepts. Participation in the design of the Data Migration activities and deploy them in production. At least 3-5 years of experience in analysis / design of Data Migration. Experience in a Technology consultancy or Technology for financial institution, ideally Risk related. Work experience on Financial applications will be added advantage with fair understanding on data elements. Requires a prior exposure to Data modeling, Database design and SQL. Conversant with writing SQL Server queries, Excel Macros, XML etc. Knowledge on ETL tools. Understanding of .Net ,C# would be added advantage. Strong Data Analysis Skills like ETL Mapping, SQL querying, Source to Target Mapping. Understanding of an enterprise level RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle etc ). Qualifications Degree or equivalent. Graduation with Specialization and certification in Data Migration etc. Competencies Fluent in English Excellent communicator ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion Attention to detail track record of authoring high quality documentation Organized approach manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%) Willing to work in Flexible schedule, ready to work in shifts Must be able to perform under pressure Must learn and maintain knowledge of software components as necessary to support application builds and deployments and maintaining production environments. Excellent communication skills. High level of confidence. Client facing skills with the ability to demonstrate facts to customer queries. Well organized Effective planning, prioritizing and scheduling of activities. Proactive Presentable Should have prior exposure to implementations on client side. Should be able to understand the business domain.
