Job Description

    The successful candidate needs to have a proven background in DevOps automation with strong skills in AWS services and architectures, Linux virtualization, the Kubernetes ecosystem and Helm. - A commitment to collaborative problem solving and quality product is essential. - Expect to think outside boxes, solve real problems, and change how technology is used in our company. - We work in a Scrum environment where its every team members responsibility to ensure SDLC best practices are followed. - This role will focus on various aspects of the Kubernetes ecosystem, as well as other components of the container PaaS. Job Requirements : - Strong experience with Microservices and related deployment technologies to include Jenkins, Ansible, and Helm - Applied experience with orchestrator and provisioning technologies for container-based platforms, specifically Kubernetes, Docker and Helm - Experience in Linux-based systems - Experience in Python, shell scripting, and git - Experience building and scaling high-performing distributed systems - Strong knowledge of network programming and cloud infrastructure - AWS administration skills - At least 6 years of relevant work experience to include systems administration andor software engineering in AWS - At least 4 years of building applications software, test automation or infrastructure as code - At least 2 years experience building CICD pipelines in Jenkins Bonus Points : - Experience with various components of the Kubernetes Ecosystem - Proficiency in security implementation best practices including AWS Security Groups, IAM Roles, and Key Management - Azure andor Data Center experience - Familiarity with OpenStack - Familiarity with serverless architectures - Constant curiosity and a desire to improve yourself and your colleagues- Role: DevOps Engineer Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: Engineering - Software & QA Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: DevOps
